St.
Stephen’s School emerged victorious in the ICSE
Inter School Badminton Tournament held on July 17,
2009 at D.A.V School, Dera Bassi. The boys and the
girls team both contributed towards winning the
overall championship. Five ICSE School (i.e. D.A.V
School, Dera Bassi; Little Flower Convent School,
Panckula; St. Xavier’s School, Panchkula; St. Xavier’s
School, Chandigarh; St. Stephen’s School, Chandigarh)
participated in the Tournament. It must be mentioned
that the girls played very well and Ibna Sharma of St.
Stephen’s needs a special mention. Kudos !! to Mr. W.
Willmer DPE who accompanied the school team that
brought back the coveted trophy.
