Surabhi Godara

Save our Earth

Our Earth is in trouble,
Save it lest it should turn to rubble.

We live on it,
Yet we don’t take  care of it.

We spend our lives on Earth’s fertile lands,
Yet we are turning it into barren sands.

We are destroying Earth’s precious creatures,
And polluting its wonderful features.

We are too lazy to prevent it,
Yet if we lose them, we’ll repent it.

So think of a solution,
To prevent pollution.

Make a life worth living,
By living in peace without killing.

Each of us can do their part,
And together we can Mother Nature’s art.

Our Earth is in trouble,
Save it lest should turn to rubble.

Sohbat Sandal

Man is inseparably linked with nature through a complex web of relationships. Through the ages and all of evolution, man has sought sustenance  from benevolent Earth. However, in his insatiable greed for material progress, man has exploited nature’s bounties relentlessly. The consequences  of this mindless pursuit have not only caused harm to the present generation but also mortgaged the future. In order to serve as a reminder of man’s obligation to Mother Earth, April 22 is celebrated worldwide as “Earth Day”. On this occasion, we must solemnly dedicated ourselves as conscientious citizens to do everything to protect the earth, not only from degeneration, but also do everything to renew and rejuvenate the beautiful earth.
